Uttari Betta Peak, near Kunigal, Karnataka, is a 4-6 km easy-to-moderate trek, about 70 km from Bangalore. Expect a scenic trail with rocky paths, lush forests, and ancient fort ruins, leading to a summit with stunning sunrise views. The trek, ideal from October to March, includes the historic Shankareswar Temple and is perfect for beginners. Night treks offer a starlit experience with guided tours, requiring good shoes, water, and a torch. A serene, less-crowded adventure, itβs a great weekend getaway with historical charm.
11:00 PM: Guests who have opted for the Transportation variant will be picked up from Bangalore.
03:30 AM : Arrive at Uttari Betta base.
After a comfortable drive, reach the base of Uttari Betta. Take some time to relax and prepare for the trek.
04:00 AM: Start the trek to the summit. Begin the 6 km trek through beautiful forest trails, hills, and streams as you make your way up to the top.
05:30 AM: Reach the summit, enjoy the campfire, and witness the sunrise.
Upon reaching the summit, relax and enjoy the warmth of a campfire (if weather permits) as you witness a stunning sunrise from the top of Uttari Betta.
07:00 AM: Begin the descent to the base. After spending some time at the summit, start your descent back down the hill to the base.
