From there, the trail begins with a short stream crossing and a steep ascent through Coorg’s dense forests. Within short order, you’ll reach your first clearing on the path, offering panoramic views of mountains and valleys that lie ahead, making this meadow an ideal place to stop for lunch while taking in its breathtaking surroundings. Additionally, this breathtaking trail is an opportunity for wildlife spotting as it hosts Malabar giant squirrels as well as other forms of deer found grazing nearby forests. Kopatty Hill Top offers stunning panoramic views that you won’t soon forget, from which you can witness everything from Western Ghat peaks to the forests you traversed along your trek.
