Additionally, Adi Shankaracharya meditated at this location, making it an important spiritual site. Once at the summit, trekkers can take in breathtaking views of the surrounding hills and valleys as well as witness an exhilarating sunset from this point. Additionally, an ancient fort nearby offers another opportunity for discovery if desired. Hikers must remember that this trail forms part of Mookambika Wildlife Sanctuary and should take great care not to disturb or harm any of its wildlife.
