Madhugiri Betta (also known as Madhugiri Hill or Madhugiri Fort) is one of Asia’s largest monoliths, a massive granite dome rising 1,207 meters in Tumkur district, Karnataka, about 105 km from Bangalore. The sunrise trek involves a moderate 1–1.5 km uphill climb (300–400 steps and rocky paths) to the summit, where you’ll witness a breathtaking golden sunrise over the Deccan Plateau, surrounded by misty valleys and ancient ruins.
